Social Shift of 2021

As we kick off 2021, there is a continuing trend of users jumping off the major social media platforms and going in other directions. Within the last couple of days, users have dropped off Facebook and Twitter to join other platforms like MeWe, Gab, Signal, and others.

Just as a reference point –
Signal had 1.3 million downloads just this week.
MeWe and Gab added 600,000 and 400,000 new users respectively this week.

Now that we know that people are moving from platform to platform, how do we make sure your message is still reaching your audience? These newer platforms do not have advertising for businesses because they are mainly about privacy and no ads so below are a few ways to help offset these challenges.
